Bellami hair extensions are now offered at ViVo! These semi-permanent extensions come in more than 40 shades and in a variety of lengths. “You can use them to completely transform your look, and add length and fullness. The quality is also awesome,” says Lindsay Cassandro, ViVo Senior Stylist.

Stylists Lindsay Cassandro and Lexi Forbis attended a Bellami training class in California to further their understanding of the product. “My trip with Lindsay to California was short but so much fun! Our class was in Escondido, California at a salon called The Parlour off Grand. The class was two days long, 9-5pm each day. We learned a lot about extensions, social media and how to grow our Bellami business,” says Lexi.

The Bellami Process:

“The process of getting extensions is pretty simple. We have you come in for a consultation. We figure out which type is best for your hair and your lifestyle. We then match your color, order the hair and then put them in. Installation depends on which type of extension you get,” explains Lexi.

ViVo offers three different types of Bellami hair extensions, I-tips (beaded), tape-ins, and a volume weft (sew-in). Each type is available in a straight or wavy texture. The type of extension that works best for you will depend on your hair thickness and texture.

• I-Tips are individual strips of hair attached to natural hair with small copper beads. They are great for people who wear their hair up often and are also recommended for clients with thinner hair. I-tips typically last between ten to twelve months.
• Wefts are single pieces of thick hair that are sewn in to the natural hair. These are great for those who have thick hair and are needing maximum coverage. They typically last between eight to twelve months.
• Tape-Ins are 4 cm wefts of hair applied with medical grade adhesive tape sandwiched over natural hair. They typically last six months

“What type of extensions are best for you would depend on your thickness and texture of hair. It also depends on the amount of maintenance you are willing to have,” explains Lindsay.
