October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Vivo dedicated two weeks to STAND in awareness and joined with clients to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks. We want to thank everyone who helped us reach our goal by graciously giving. Through a team effort, we gave more than $1,700 to this amazing organization.

Both Jennifer, ViVo stylist/owner, and Rachel, ViVo stylist, have moms who are Breast Cancer survivors.

This cause is dear to our hearts as so many of our loved ones, clients, and friends have been affected in some way by breast cancer. BCFO works with local communities to improve breast cancer screening rates and provides breast cancer families with the financial and emotional support they need.

We want to congratulate the gift basket winner, Marianne Jennings, who is a survivor of breast cancer herself! We greatly appreciate everyone who could STAND with us and together made a difference.

Also in October, ViVo took a STAND against domestic violence. Greene County has one of the highest rates of domestic violence per capita in the state. We joined our local community in taking the iCare pledge by wearing a symbolic black eye to raise awareness and funds for Harmony House. In a single day, we donated more than $200 with client added contributions, to help save lives in our own community.

Thank you to Harmony House and all their efforts of providing shelter, advocacy and education to survivors of domestic violence. We believe that all individuals have the right to a life free of abuse!
