A note to our valued clients,
As you are aware, the COVID-19 event continues to unfold across the world. At ViVo, we are doing our best to balance what is best for our staff, clients, and community. This is a precarious process, as opinions and emotions are heightened during this most difficult time. In accordance with the advice and best practices recommended by medical experts, state, local, and federal officials we have decided to alter our operations in the following ways:
Effective 3.17.2020, ViVo will abide by recommendations to have no more than ten individuals inside the salon at any given time. We will be adjusting our schedules accordingly to minimize staff presence and will operate in shifts in order to accommodate as many clients as possible. This is going to require immense sacrifice on behalf of the salon, employees and clients. We truly apologize for the inconvenience to your schedule, but we cannot risk any additional negative fallout to our community by failing to fall in line with recommendations by our medical experts. Our business and employees are going to feel a sharp financial impact, yet we are making accommodations to ensure our staff is able to withstand this situation until regular business operations can safely resume.
As mentioned above, in order to practice social distancing, we are staggering shifts to vacate the majority of the salon throughout the workday. We are asking any clients feeling ill to stay home and we will do our very best to accommodate you once you are feeling better. Further, clients that fall in the high- risk category due to age and/or pre-existing medical conditions are asked to call and re-schedule their appointments for a later date. Next, we are asking clients to arrive alone for their appointments to minimize the number of people in the salon at any given time to ten. Lastly, if you have been in the salon within the past fourteen days and have subsequently tested positive for COVID-19 please let us know immediately so any staff members you had contact with can take proper precautions.
Rest assured our cleaning company is performing bi-weekly, deep cleanings and we are extensively sanitizing all stations and common areas with a hospital grade sanitizer that meets CDC standards for this particular virus. We are placing the utmost importance on providing the most sanitary environment possible.
Thank you again for your understanding during this difficult time. In a matter of a few short days the world has become a little bit scarier than what we are used to. Hopefully in the days and weeks to come, we look back and see that we chose the right course of action in helping to limit the spread of this virus while also protecting the best interest of our clients, staff and their respective families. We feel that if we continue to implement best practices, communicate effectively and work proactively we will soon be able to return to business as usual. Do not hesitate to contact our front desk for any concerns or issues concerning your appointments. More than ever, take care of yourselves and each other.
